Some friends are coming over and you decide to make dessert. Then you think, “What if I fail?” This stresses you. Being thorough and worrying are different. If you worry you’ll find it hard to turn out a good dessert. And even if you succeed what’s the point? Baking is supposed to be fun.
The cure for “bakers stress”.
Buy some vanilla ice cream and put it in your freezer.
That’s it!
This is your insurance.
Even if your baking is an utter failure (unlikely) you can serve your guests a dish of vanilla ice cream. Now you are worry FREE!

Four things to remember.
• Plain vanilla ice cream is delicious.
• Vanilla ice cream topped with fresh strawberries is delicious.
(Add a spoon of balsamic vinegar and you are a super chef).
• Gelato con Café (very popular at our cafés)
Scoop ice cream into individual cups or tall glasses. Pour a shot of espresso (or super strong black unsweetened coffee) over ice cream. Top with a biscotti or your favorite cookie.
• If you don’t like vanilla ice cream we can’t be friends.
