BEST WAY TO CUT NEW YORK CHEESCAKE

• Using dental floss or nylon fishing:
With the cake on a flat surface press the floss down and with a back and forth motion (see diagram) cut to the bottom of the cake. Repeat.

• Using a knife:
Wet the knife in warm water, gently shake off excess water, make your cut, then clean blade with a moist cloth and repeat.
